Sonic meets Green Chapter 5

Two figures, unfamiliar with our world, are on the beach, watching the sunset.
"Hey, Knucky," Rouge said, floating next to Knuckles. "Oh. Hi Rouge," he said back, somber compared to his usual attitude. 'He's surprisingly calm. Either he's sleepy, on drugs or emotions aren't in check,' she thought. "Something wrong?" she asked. "No. But that's the problem. Peace. I've wanted it for so long that when I finally get it, something's wrong. I think I'm lonely," he said. Rouge bit her lip. 'Hmm...! Got it!' she thought. "I might be able to help with that," she said. Knuckles blushed. He looked at her. She was blushing too.
"W-w-what do you-," he was interrupted by Rouge kissing him on the lips. It was the best thing he felt...EVER! After an eternity, they released. "You know, I could get used to this,"
he said, slyly as they kissed again.

Maria and Shadow were on that same beach, unaware of the others. "Hey, Shadow." "Yes?" Shadow responded. He turned to face her. She was blushing. "Even though I'm not the actual Maria, I remember how much you tried to protect her from harm. You tried your best. It's very sweet when you think about it." Shadow blushed. "Maria," he began. "With that said, I will never let you get hurt. As long as I'm alive, you will always be safe. You were the first person that was nice to me. I'm grateful for your kindness." He blushed more intensely now. Maria walked up to him. He blushed even more. She leaned in and kissed him on the lips. After the usual eternity, they released. "I love you, my hedgehog in shining armor," she said. They kissed again.
